Ashley Olsen Quits The Entertainment Business Forever For Fashion Industry

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen either of the Olsen twins working in the entertainment industry (and I have to say that I secretly miss that).  I really enjoy the coverage that we get of them (even though it’s probably like every 3 months) and actually wish there was more.  I really enjoy following their fashion, but since they aren’t photographed very much it’s far and few between that they ever come up in the media.

Recently Ashley Olsen talked to the media about her love for fashion.

“I used to be in the entertainment industry,” Ashley recently told Hamptons magazine. “And now I feel passionate about the fashion industry. I understand what it takes to make a brand and to have an eye for product that sells. I don’t have the time to step away for a month. I hold myself accountable every day.”

Ashley and her sister Mary Kate really do a great job with both of their fashion lines.   I am SO glad that they decided to go into the fashion industry and create their own label.  They had that Wal-Mart brand a while back but that of course went no where and was only meant for girls under the age of 11 anyways.  Hardly anything I could wear!  But even though they’ve branched into women’s clothing and accessories I still haven’t been able to make a purchase from either Elizabeth & James or The Row because they are just too expensive.  I’ll have to wait until I’m making some good money or marry a very rich man. Hah. Fat chance on both!
